 HousingFood Panty at MCDI

Food Pantry

The MCDI Food Pantry services the MCDI students who are on fixed incomes, single parents, unemployed and the working poor who are struggling to make ends meet. On a weekly basis the MCDI Food Pantry services approximately 75 students and their families.

The MCDI Food Pantry is part of the Door-to-Door delivery program of the Food Bank of Western Ma. The food we receive comes from several sources. We receive food from the Massachusetts Emergency Food Assistance Program otherwise known as MEFAP, the United States Department of Agriculture known as USDA, food salvage from supermarkets and from the 60- acre Food Bank of Western Mass Farm that grows organic produce.
